FDA Says to Stop Using Hydroxycut, the Dangers of Hydroxycut Are Real

WARNING: DANGERS OF HYDROXYCUT. If you have been using Hydroxycut supplements for weight loss, please stop immediately! This includes items sold under the "Iovate" and "MuscleTech" brands.

In 2009, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that some Hydroxycut products can cause serious liver damage and other negative health effects. The FDA warns all consumers to immediately stop using Hydroxycut products.

Besides liver damage, users have experienced seizures, heart problems, muscle damage, and kidney failure. One death has also been associated with Hydroxycut.

For those who haven't heard of the Hydroxycut product line, these items are marketed "for weight loss, as fat burners, as energy-enhancers, as low-card diet aids, and for water loss".

I don't know if Hydroxycut is sold elsewhere in the world, but in the U.S. it is widely available over-the-counter without a prescription. It has been a popular product among body builders and dieters, although I am sure today stores across the country are quickly removing these items from their shelves.

Personally, I prefer to follow an all-natural program of gradual weight loss. However, I understand some people choose to help the process along with fat loss pills and supplements.

Just realize these types of products may have hidden risks!
